The icon toolbar
The second header row is the action toolbar. Every button dispatches to the active SQL editor unless noted.

| ▶ green | Execute statement (F8) | Runs the current statement (or the selection). |
| ⏩ green | Execute script (F9) | Runs the whole editor contents as a script. |
| ⏹ red | Stop running query | Marks the running query as cancelled. |
| ⎇ | Commit | Commits the SQL editor’s open transaction. Lights up green when work is pending. |
| ↩ | Rollback | Rolls back the SQL editor’s open transaction. Lights up amber when work is pending. |
| ☰ | Explain plan (F6) | Produces the execution plan for the current statement. |
| ⛓ | Visual query builder | Opens the point-and-click SELECT builder. |
| ¶ | Format SQL | Reformats the editor contents. |
| 📄+ | New query (new tab) | Adds an empty editor tab. |
| 📂 | Open query from file | Loads a .sql, .pks, .pkb or .txt file into a new tab. |
| 💾 | Save query to file | Saves the active tab. |
| 💾↓ | Save As… | Saves the active tab under a new name and location. |
| 💾⧉ | Save all tabs | Writes every open tab to its own file. |
| ⬇ blue | Export Tables… | Opens the Export Tables wizard. |
| ⬆ blue | Import Tables… | Opens the Import Tables wizard. |
| 🗔 | New IDE window | Opens a second, independent IDE window that prompts for its own connection. |
| 🕘 | Query history | Opens the history dropdown. |
| ⭐ | SQL snippets | Opens the snippet library. |
| 🗄 chip | (display only) | Shows SCHEMA@connectionthe schema your statements run against. |
At the right end of the row:

| 🤖 Bot | Show/hide the AI assistant (Ctrl+Shift+A). Only appears on the Editor and Debugger modules. |
| ▦ Table | Show/hide the bottom dock’s Data Grid. |
Commit and Rollback are greyed out unless a manual-commit session is active. See §16.6 for what that means.
